Being introduced to yoga in 2007, Sonia became drawn to the uniqueness of the practice after she took her first hot yoga class. She has never looked back since! It has truly been a life changing journey.

SONIA'S TEACHINGS

After spending some years in the corporate environment, Sonia realized that it was time to follow her true passion. She decided to deepen her knowledge and learn about the philosophies of yoga by becoming a registered yoga teacher of the Canadian Yoga Alliance.

Sonia’s teachings range from entry level yoga to those who are looking for higher intensity classes. Believing that different styles of yoga offer their own unique benefits.

Sonia believes in living and promoting a healthy lifestyle and it is her goal to motivate and inspire everyone around her to be healthy and active.

SONIA'S LOVE AND PASSION

She is constantly working towards enriching her practice by attending workshops and ongoing training. Also, her knowledge in the health and fitness industry comes from holding a BA degree in Psychology and having experience working in health facilities such as Chiropractic and Counseling clinics.

Given her current background, her classes blend a strong element of body awareness, breathing techniques, alignment, core strength, flexibility and traditional practices. Sonia seeks to make her practice of yoga exciting, educational, and pleasurable to all her students. Sonia’s love and passion for yoga grows with every passing day which is not only apparent in her classes, but also in her teaching where she strives to instill and empower this passion in her students.
